I went into a sort of green film with Key and Peele. I saw some of their sketches online and whatever appears on Facebook, but I did not follow them as normal fans.When first I heard about this movie I was interested. Ive been in the Film and Video festival Cat knows how a cat can be fun to watch, so of course the crazy cat lady I decided to try it a whirl. I hope at least a laugh and an easy way to spend an evening with my BF. As the story opens I’ve been blown away: drug kingpin? epic war scenes? kitten on stage!? Then go to our two main characters: one suburban nerds get over a break up is destructive, the other is not his wife say too wound and tense. What unfolds as Keanu find their way to one of their porches and meows adorably relief, is the place for what will come in both epic hero cat adventure for b ecirc; l fur, but also up in their own personal level where they learn to live a little and let loose. I can honestly say that this film has everything; action, suspense, romance, and several tons of comedy. I can not remember the last time I laughed this hard movie (maybe Step Brothers?) And the one thing I love about this movie is that it is not too vulgar, if at all. I’m not sure why this should be the case with some movies. Key and Peele has been proven to me that they have not been certified meat comedy on the need to put as much sexual innuendo as others do comedy. Also, it is a bit of a head scratcher to me how the film received poor reviews and makes me question if this just generally troll. This film managed to break stereotypes about black men overall (lead) in the film as well as cat in the film. Not all the minority leader in the gangstas (although they would like to beed festive here) and not all the cats in the movie little jerks who want to take over the world. The best part? Key and Peele actually promote animal shelter adoption tour through this film. Whats not to love? But the best thing about this movie? Keanu. You will fall in love, beware. It certainly bear show and you leave the theater wanted to go hug your baby fur, or even better, make you want to go adopt one.This film became a cult classic and I repeat (watch) list for years to come.
